I enjoyed The Icepick Surgeon, which is like weird science mixed with criminals who thought doing the science would help them, but instead it was wayyy wrong!
I LOVE Mary Roach and have read every one of her books so your book suggestions are super welcome! (We took a field trip to one of our local university's cadaver lab in 5th grade and I just remember how chicken-y the body looked, and the smell of formaldehyde...)
One of my favorite nonfiction reads of the last few years is The Madman’s Library: The Greatest Curiosities of Literature by Edward Brooke-Hitching. It’s full of various book related oddities from throughout history! Italian prayer book pistols, an oak commode stool disguised as a book, cryptic postcards between lovers, literary hoaxes from antiquity, and more. Utterly fascinating!

Oooh, yes! I have an ARC of this and have been waiting for the ~perfect time~ to read it. That perfect time is NOW.
I'm on the list at the library for this one!

Impressive that you’ve read all of her books!
Also. Yikes.
Mary Roach is a national treasure.
